Dear Birthmother,

We are excited to welcome a new baby into our home and we appreciate you giving us this opportunity to share our lives with you. We have been blessed with one sweet little girl through adoption and we would love to bring another wonderful child into our family.

About Us:

We fell in love shortly out of high school and have been married for eight years. Phil is a high school teacher and Patty is a stay-at-home mom. Our life together has been filled with love, laughter, and adventure. We are best friends and respect each other greatly. We enjoy being outside, going for walks, biking, or having movie and game nights. We love to travel and are looking forward to sharing our adventures with a new little one alongside us.

About Patty:

Patty has a huge heart for people who are hurting or in need and is always there to help when people call, no matter what time it is. She is an excellent cook who loves to bake. Her deserts are always highlights of the parties that we love to have with friends and family. Patty’s personality is as sweet as her baked treats. It has been such a blessing to see our relationships with each other and with God grow stronger as our marriage has progressed. Patty likes to spend her time with family, creatively caring for our home and playing with Maya.

About Phil:

Phil is the love of my life and my best friend. He is patient and laid-back, yet enjoys adventure and has a great sense of humor. He enjoys golfing, camping, fishing, hiking and playing or watching sports.

Phil enjoys his job as a high school history teacher. It allows him to spend his days teaching kids and studying history, two things he enjoys very much. His extended vacation times enable us to travel often and spend a lot of time together. Phil loves being a dad and spends a lot of his free time playing, laughing and reading stories to Maya.

About Maya:

We have been blessed with sweet little girl who is full of energy and smiles. Maya loves going for walks, playing in the pool and visiting the neighbor’s horses.

We keep in contact with Maya’s birthmom via emails and photos periodically and we’d be happy to honor whatever level of contact you are comfortable with.

Our Home

We live in a beautiful country home with a gorgeous view of the valley below. We love to entertain guests on our back deck, have friends and family over for game nights or walk to Grandma and Grandpa’s who live just down the road.

Our Family:

God has blessed us with an incredible family. We both come from large, supportive, Christian families. Both of us grew up surrounded by family and continue to spend a lot of time with them. We have close relationships with all of our siblings and their families and they are thrilled about the arrival of a new family member.

Our Faith

Our faith is the center of who we are and what we do. We were both raised in Christian homes and are very blessed to families that love God, as well as a very loving and supportive church family. We plan on teaching our children about God’s love for them, as well as instilling in them good values and morals.
