Twelve years after our friendship began we started dating. We have been married now 10 years. We actively enjoy our beautiful surroundings in Hawaii by walking together, date nights, and hiking. We also enjoy traveling.

About Us

Our family enjoys swimming, snorkeling, and biking as well as making memories on Family Night. Each Thursday night is a highlight of our week as we plan a fun activity to do together and then finish the night by Dennis leading us in a Bible devotion.

Our Christian faith is the foundation of our family life and we look forward to sharing our faith, family, and lots of fun with your child.

About Dennis by Tami

Dennis is truly my best friend. I love the way he makes me laugh, his strong faith and how he brings out the best in everyone around him. Dennis’ work as a Naval Intelligence Officer allows him to use his BA in International Affairs and his MBA. He loves his job and providing for our family.

Dennis is an active dad who loves building Legos or train track courses, and going to the playground, playing Wii games, or baking with the kids. He is an avid runner, loves hiking and snorkeling and trying new adventures. He enjoys playing piano in his spare time and is part of the worship team at church.

About Tami by Dennis

Tami is a godly wife and mother. She has a passion to plan for, nurture and develop our family. Her favorite part of being a military wife is the many new adventures we have as a family. This past year she fulfilled her long time dream of swimming with a dolphin, a great experience Hawaii was able to offer.

Tami got her degree in Elementary Education. She taught for a couple years, but now she cherishes her time at home mothering and schooling our children. She also enjoys teaching Sunday school. Tami loves to read (both for herself and to the kids), going for walks or hikes, and cooking.

Our Children

A strong education for our children is very important to our family. With Tami's background in teaching and the ability to travel and experience new things through Dennis' career we are excited to offer our children a chance to pursue a good education. We are financially prepared to help all our children be able to attend college. Isabel is a seven year old, imaginative little girl who loves ballet, swimming, and playing piano. She is sensitive, kind towards others and a good playmate to Ethan. She is very excited about our plans to adopt.

Ethan is a four year old, active little boy who loves to run, climb, jump and summersault in addition to swimming, boating, biking, and anything at the beach. Ethan is excited to have a brother or another sister.

Our Families

Adoption is a part of our extended family as Dennis’ father and sister were both adopted.

All of Dennis’ family and Tami’s mom are supportive and excited about our adoption plans.

Our House:

We live in military housing in a new two-story house with three bedrooms. One bedroom decorated and set up as our nursery. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with a great playground right by the house and wonderful open spaces perfect for riding bikes, playing games or going for walks as a family.

From the beginning we will share your child’s adoption story with him or her. We are committed to providing your child with a quality education and a variety of experiences to allow him or her to find out what interests or talents he or she has. We will pass on our Christian faith and love your child unconditionally. We will be there to support him or her for a lifetime.
