Dear Birthmother,

We greatly appreciate your time and are very pleased to share a little bit about our family with you. We love being parents and our lives are filled with love and laughter and dreams for the future. Our greatest dream is to adopt a child. We can’t wait to open our hearts to you and your precious baby through adoption.

About Us:

Mutual friends introduced us to each other about seven years ago and we have been inseparable ever since. We had an instant connection that grew into a strong, faithful relationship. Both sets of our parents model healthy relationships and we are following in their footsteps to emulate a healthy marriage and family life.

Currently we have two children, Xyler and Kaylee, and we are dedicated to making sure they grow up to be healthy, respectful, and compassionate people. We believe that families are brought together in all different ways, shapes, and forms. God has planted a seed in our hearts and opened our eyes to adoption and we look forward to expanding our family this way.

After a typical week, we make sure to do something special as a family. Some of the things that we have done together include: bowling, swimming, inflatable play lands, marshmallow roasting, and snow machine rides. We hope to create loving memories to look back on and smile about with your child as part of our family.

About Emily:

Emily is a very warm, out-going, caring, wife and mother. She has a lot of friends and is very close to her family. She was an athlete in high school and will encourage the kids to be involved in extra-curricular activities. Her being able to stay home provides the children with a nurturing environment, guidance, structure, and tons of hugs and kisses. Emily also volunteers at the church doing Sunday school with the three year olds.

Emily loves to scrapbook, bake, shop, and enjoy a cup of coffee with her friends. She feels very blessed to have such a wonderful family and can’t wait for another child to give her heart to.

About Dustin:

Dustin is a very loving, supportive, hard working, and attentive husband and father. He is very close to his parents, and has worked along side his dad in the family business for almost twelve years. Together, they relocate and raise buildings and other large structures. It is very interesting to watch a house travel down the road, being hauled by a semi-truck! Dustin built our home in 2006 and we have plans to build again in a few years to offer our family space to grow.

Dustin loves the outdoors! He most enjoys four wheeling, fishing, camping, float trips, snowmobiling, and get-togethers with family and friends. Although he loves all of these things, his true passion is being with his family.

Our Children:

Xyler is our active five year old. He is continuously surprising us with his thoughtfulness and caring heart. Xyler’s favorite place to be is outside. He loves planting and picking flowers, transplanting trees, and playing in his sandbox. He often expresses that he can’t wait for another brother or sister.

Kaylee is our radiant three year old. She is very independent, sweet, and helpful. She loves to play dress up, take baths, and dress her dolls. When she is outside, you’ll find her playing in the snow with her brother or picking flowers in the summer time. Kaylee’s passion for babies assures us that she will be a great big sister.

Our Home in Alaska:

Our home has three bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and laminate floors. It is situated on three acres of land. 

We are just a few miles from the store, school, church, or either set of grandparents. We see several moose cross through our yard each year and a few delightful sunsets. Our home is shared with our two wonderful dogs, Jordyn and Dio.

Your child will be loved unconditionally and encouraged to be anything he or she want to be. We will raise your child to have values, compassion, and faith in God. We will share your child’s special adoption story with him or her through life, and about the love and courage that brought us together through adoption. We hope to create an open adoption plan with you, if you’re comfortable, and would be happy to share future contact as your child grows.
